The Turquoise Care Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), in collaboration with the New Mexico Health Care Authority (HCA), Medical Assistance Division (MAD) and Quality Bureau (QB), are offering training on statewide critical incident reporting requirements for all personal care services (PCS) providers, behavioral health providers and support broker agencies. Attendance will fulfill providers' contractual obligation for Critical Incident Reporting Training.

Training Overview

This training encompasses how to report critical incidents to each individual MCO and through the HCA Critical Incident Reporting Portal. All allegations of the following types of critical incidents must be reported:

  • Abuse
  • Neglect
  • Exploitation
  • Death
  • Medication errors
  • Restraint/restrictive interventions

The panel will also answer questions throughout the presentation and there will be a Q&A session at the end. Thank you for your participation in this training.
