Welcome to the 2026 Medical Surgical Nursing Symposium, a dynamic gathering designed for nurses who are passionate about their profession and committed to lifelong learning.
The symposium will be held on November 6, 2026, from 0900-1300 at the Presbyterian Rev. Hugh Cooper Center, James Hinton Auditorium.
Doors open at 8:00.
Our mission is to provide an opportunity for nurses to update their knowledge, network with one another, and celebrate their profession. Our speakers will discuss a variety of topics, including patient mobility in acute care, sepsis care, applying the Braden scale to prevent pressure injuries, strategies to prevent burnout in healthcare, and more. Our goal is to provide nurses with tools to handle today’s most common topics.
